The perfect
blend of seasonings to add that unique Louisiana flair to any
seafood or vegetable dish. Our Cajun Seasoning is specially
blended with much less salt than commercial seasonings. This
allows for more individual control of the application and level
of flavor desired. PaPa’s Original Cajun Seasoning can be
applied as light or as heavy as you prefer without having to
worry about your food ending up too salty. For best results,
season the food prior to cooking so the flavor can mell into the
food. Feel free to add more seasoning just prior to serving your
dish for a little extra kick of Cajun flavor.
Note: This recipe requires a spice grinder or food
processor. Ingredients: 5 TBS Paprika 2 tsp Sea Salt 3 TBS + 1 tsp. Garlic Powder 2 TBS Black Pepper 2 TBS Onion Powder 2 TBS Cayenne Pepper 1 tsp Dried Oregano 2 tsp Dried Thyme 16 TBS Total
Directions: Combine
all ingredients in a bowl. Stir mixture together slightly to
combine.Place mixture in the grinder or processor.
Do two batches if necessary. Grind the mixture to
a medium fine consistency, similar to fine sea salt.Store
mixture in an air tight container in a cool dark place.
